African Railway Center of Excellence (ARCE) is one of the African Center of Excellence II projects. The center has aspired to become a sustainable regional hub for education, training, and research in Railway Engineering and Management, capable of leading efforts to address priority development challenges and improve lives in Africa. The center is working to strengthen railway professionals’ development through short-term training, MSc and PhD level education, and research in Ethiopia and the continent at large. To this effect, ARCE is offering self-sponsored or organization sponsored Applicants from African countries to pursue MSc and PhD studies in Railway Engineering specializing in “Civil Infrastructure”, “Rolling Stock”, “Traction and Train Control “and” Railway System Management” for the year 2024/25.

Applicants are expected to cover all accommodation and tuition fee expenses. ARCE may cover tuition fee only for selected highly competent National applicants from the Railway Industry, Higher education, and other related institutions.   The applicants can find the uploaded announcement document and the application form link below herewith.
