This module will cover the basic principles prestressed concrete analysis and design, estimation of stress losses, constituent materials, loading and allowable stresses, working and ultimate stress analysis and design, shear and torsion, deflections. In addition, steel and composite bridges and beams design and analysis, vehicle – Track – bridge dynamics analysis with the application of FEM modeling software will be covered in the module.
